Google is developing a new artificial intelligence model, Jarvis, that will be able to control a user’s device. A page describing the product accidentally became available in the Chrome Web Store for a short period of time, Engadget reports.

Jarvis was described as “a helpful companion that surfs the web for you.” The new AI model will be able to take care of everyday tasks such as grocery shopping, airline booking, and information gathering.

Google’s new AI can also take control of a computer to perform these simple tasks without human intervention. The prototype that appeared in the Google extension store was available for download, but it did not work. The Jarvis page has now been removed.

By the way, Anthropic has recently announced that its Claude model is also making progress in computer control. Researchers reported that the model can type, use the cursor, and click on icons and buttons.
