realme has introduced a GT 7 Pro smartphone starting at $520 with a large screen, Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, Android 15, and three major system updates.
The realme GT 7 Pro has a 6.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2780 by 1264 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz with a maximum brightness of 2000 nits. The screen also supports Dolby Vision and HDR 10+.
Inside, the smartphone is equipped with a new octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and Adreno 830 graphics. The realme GT 7 Pro has variants with 12 and 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of storage. The battery capacity is 6500 mAh with support for fast 120W charging.
The smartphone also has a three-camera system: a 50 MP main camera with optical stabilization and f/1.8 aperture, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50 MP Sony IMX882 periscopic telephoto sensor with 3x zoom. The latter module uses the AI Zoom Ultra Clarity function, which enhances the clarity of telephoto images. On the front, the smartphone has a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.45.
Among other things, the smartphone has a built-in fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and IP68 and IP69 water and dust protection.
realme GT 7 Pro will be available in China on November 11, 2024. The new product will appear on the global market at the end of the month.
