BioWare has no plans to release any expansion packs for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Instead, the company will focus on developing a new Mass Effect installment. This was reported by IGN.
This decision seems atypical for BioWare. The studio has been releasing add-ons for its games since the days of Baldur’s Gate. Lair of the Shadowbroker for Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age 2 prequel Leliana’s Song, and Trespasser for Dragon Age Inquisition offer some of the studio’s best stories and expand the lore of game worlds.
Mass Effect development has reportedly been suspended to strengthen the Dragon Age: The Veilguard team. Now the studio will focus on the space saga in a similar way.
The game director of the new Mass Effect, Mike Gamble, said that they will not imitate the visual style of Dragon Age. The new game will look realistic and retain the gloomy mood of the original trilogy.
I'm not sure I agree with the Pixar thing, but Mass Effect is photorealistic and will be as long as i'm running it.

Meanwhile, there is a lot to explore in the new Dragon Age even without the expansion packs. According to the HowLongToBeat website, the full game takes about 88 hours to complete, while the main story takes a little more than 12 hours to complete. Although the game’s online reputation is not the best, it still has 11,585 mostly favorable reviews on Steam, and the simultaneous online presence is growing and has reached 89,418 players.
