Porsche is introducing another version of its legendary 911 model. This time, it is the Porsche 911 Carrera T, which occupies an intermediate position between the Porsche 911 Carrera and the Porsche 911 Carrera S.
For example, the Porsche 911 Carrera T is powered by a 394-horsepower 3-liter turbocharged engine, just like the Porsche 911 Carrera. At the same time, the Porsche 911 Carrera T receives many components from the higher-level sports versions: PASM adaptive suspension, a rear-wheel steering system, a front splitter from the GTS, enhanced brakes, and a different anti-roll bar.
In addition, the Porsche 911 Carrera T is further lightened compared to the Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera S with thinner glass and less sound insulation. Moreover, the Porsche 911 Carrera T sports car is available in convertible form for the first time in history. Moreover, both the coupe and convertible versions of the Porsche 911 Carrera T are decorated with numerous stickers, including one very interesting one: a symbolic image of a manual transmission shift pattern.
That’s because the Porsche 911 Carrera T will only be available with a 6-speed manual transmission! As if to further emphasize the importance of “mechanics,” the shift lever is decorated with wood, which perfectly matches the retro seat trim.
Thus, the new Porsche 911 Carrera T tries to offer maximum pleasure from “pure drive” without turning into a racing car. How much does this pleasure cost? The price in Europe is already known: the Porsche 911 Carrera T with a coupe body starts from 141,700 euros, the Porsche 911 Carrera T with an open cabriolet body starts from 155,800 euros.
