We try not to write about what’s happening in Russia, especially when it comes to the so-called Russian “justice,” but sometimes it’s just impossible to resist. As RBC-Ukraine reports, 17 Russian propaganda TV channels are demanding a fine of 2 undecillion rubles (or 20.5 decillion US dollars) from Google for blocking their YouTube accounts.

To understand the scale of the madness: an undecillion is 10 to the power of 36, a decillion is 10 to the power of 33. According to various estimates, the total GDP of all countries of the planet Earth in 2024 will be 100-110 trillion US dollars, so Russian channels are asking Google for the GDP of the Earth for a quintillion years. According to current measurements, our Universe is only 13.798±0.037 billion years old.

A Russian court has demanded that Google restore access to the YouTube platform for propaganda channels, and until it does so, the fine will increase by 100 thousand rubles every day and double every week. One wonders where Google will get the money, since the company seems to have no intention of leaving Russia.
