Іhe story of the Xiaomi SU7 electric car has only recently begun, but it has already become a prominent figure in the automotive world. And here’s another reason to talk about Xiaomi SU7: the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric car has driven the Nürburgring circuit in 6 minutes 46.874 seconds – a lap record for 4-door sedans!

Although it is worth noting that the record was set by a specially prepared prototype version of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra: a huge splitter in front and an anti-wing behind, no interior and a safety frame, etc. But even in the road version of Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, buyers will receive incredible technology.

First of all, we are talking about three electric motors (a pair of V8s at the rear and one V6s at the front), which together produce 1138 kW or 1548 hp of power. This figure guarantees acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 1.98 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 5.86 seconds, as well as a top speed of 350 km/h. The electric motors are powered by the CATL Qilin II battery, which should provide up to 630 km on the CLTC cycle. However, in this case, the improved battery cooling system is more important, so that the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra can complete two laps of the Nürburgring circuit in maximum mode without overheating.

And then there’s “everything like people”: a modified suspension with adjustable struts from Bilstein, carbon-ceramic brake discs and Akebono multi-piston brakes, a bumper with a spoiler in front and a fixed wing at the rear (even if not as large as on the record-breaking prototype). The interior features sports seats, contrasting yellow and black trim, and carbon fiber elements.

Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is already available for pre-order, and the first cars should be delivered to customers in March 2025. The price of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric car starts at 815 thousand yuan, which is about $114 thousand.
