AMD has announced that it will introduce new graphics cards, including RDNA 4, in early 2025. This was announced by the company’s CEO Lisa Su during the financial report for the third quarter of 2024. It is reported by The Verge.

“In addition to a strong increase in gaming performance, RDNA 4 delivers significantly higher ray tracing performance and adds new AI capabilities,” Su said.

In addition, there are rumors that new GPUs will be presented at CES 2025. At the same time, the event is likely to showcase the Strix Halo and Fire Range processor lines, as well as the Ryzen Z2 chip for portable consoles.

AMD also reported that revenue from the gaming business will continue to decline, in particular due to falling demand for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series and because this business is not a priority for the company now. Su noted that the gaming industry is responsible for only 2% of AMD’s revenue, while data centers bring in almost half.
