Apple continues to improve AirPods 4 by releasing a new software version for the headphones. This was reported by MacRumors.

The firmware received the build number 7B19. The previous version was 7A304 and was released in September 2024. The new version of the system is already being distributed to AirPods 4 and AirPods 4 ANC. The update is installed on the headphones automatically, but the device must be in the charging case. It also needs to be connected to an iPhone or Mac.

Unfortunately, there is no information about what is included in the new firmware. Most likely, Apple has fixed bugs in the system and optimized the battery life and sound of the headphones.

By the way, this is the second firmware update that AirPods 4 have received since its launch in early 2024.
