As promised, Nothing has announced a special version of the Phone (2a) Plus smartphone. The novelty was created by fans of the brand.
The device was named Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition. Hundreds of applications were submitted for the smartphone design contest. In the end, Nothing chose two winners – Astrid Vanhuis and Kent Akasaki. The new version of the device has a green hue and boasts a glow-in-the-dark phosphorescent element on the back cover.
The Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition also received exclusive wallpapers designed by other contestants and special packaging. By the way, it, like the smartphone, glows in the dark.
As for the characteristics of the new product, they do not differ from the regular model. The gadget has an FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro processor, a 50 MP + 50 MP main camera, a 5000 mAh battery, and support for fast 50W charging.
The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition will be released in a limited number of 1000 smartphones. Sales of the device will start on November 12, 2024 at a price of $399/€449/£399.
