The American company Analogue has introduced Analogue 3D, a reimagined modernized version of the legendary Nintendo 64 game console. Pre-orders will start on October 21, and the device will cost $249.

One of the main advantages of Analogue 3D is the full support of cartridges for the original Nintendo console. The company claims that their console has support for 100% of the original games that were ever developed for the N64.

To achieve this result, the team spent four years developing the console using a special hardware FPGA chip to avoid all the problems that arise when emulation is required.

Just like the original, the new console will support local multiplayer for up to 4 players and will have 4 ports for controllers and wireless connectivity. Analogue also presented a new wireless gamepad created in partnership with 8BitDo, but it will be sold separately for $39. No controllers will be bundled with the console.
