In November, Microsoft will start testing the ability to stream games from its library using Xbox Cloud Gaming among Game Pass Ultimate users. The company promised to add this feature in 2020, The Verge reports.

Testing will begin in November 2024 for Xbox Insiders. Players will be able to stream thousands of games from their libraries that are not available on Game Pass. Initially, the feature will be limited to some games only, but over time, this functionality will be extended to more projects and more players.

In addition, in November, players will also be able to stream and buy games directly from the Xbox Android app.

Although this feature will be available soon, Microsoft first announced that it wanted to add this capability in 2020 as part of Project xCloud. The release was supposed to take place in 2022, but it did not happen. It is reported that the company needed more time to prepare the key infrastructure to support thousands of games, instead of the hundreds available in Game Pass.
