According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, Apple is working on a new iPad Air accessory.

It is a new version of the Magic Keyboard. The accessory will receive “some” of the features that were added to the latest version of the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro, released in May 2024. That is, we should expect a thinner and lighter body with an aluminum palm rest, a larger glass trackpad, and a number of function keys with shortcuts to adjust brightness and volume.

If everything goes according to plan, the new version of the Magic Keyboard for iPad Air will be available in early 2025. The new product will be available in two versions with model numbers R307 (for iPad Air 11) and R308 (for iPad Air 12.9).

By the way, in addition to the Magic Keyboard for iPad Air, we also know that in 2025 Apple will show AirTag 2 and updated Mac Studio and Mac Pro with M4 Ultra chips.
