Xiaomi is planning to expand its Redmi tablet lineup by launching a new gaming model, a DCS insider reports.

According to the leak, the new model will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship processor. Most likely, it will be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

Unfortunately, the insider did not disclose any other details of the gadget, but earlier DCS said that Xiaomi was preparing a compact tablet for release. Most likely, this is the same Redmi device.

The release of the Redmi gaming tablet is expected in the first half of 2025.

By the way, Lenovo has recently announced its compact gaming tablet Legion Y700 (2024) with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and 165 Hz screen.
