Previously, Apple devices supported wireless connections with Xbox and PlayStation controllers, but when it came to wired connections, only Sony controllers were compatible.
The thing is that Xbox uses a special USB protocol for its wired controllers. With the latest update, Apple’s operating systems now directly support this protocol.
The wired connection of Xbox controllers reduces lag in games. Users can also customize their devices.
