Apple is planning to launch iOS 18.1 with the first set of long-awaited Apple Intelligence features on October 28, 2024, according to Bloomberg journalist and insider Mark Gurman.
According to the leak, the new version of the software will be released later than originally expected. The reason is that Apple needs additional time to ensure a smooth rollout and prepare its cloud-based AI servers for the increased traffic.
The iOS 18.1 update brings the first wave of Apple Intelligence features to iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 owners. For example, the new Siri voice assistant, as well as improved tools for rewriting, summarizing, and correcting text.
Users will also get the ability to summarize messages in different applications, as well as new image editing tools and much more.
