Firaxis Games has released the system requirements for Sid Meier’s Civilization VII. If you are not an avid gamer and do not have a modern powerful computer, but you are interested in Civilization, you can still play.

The minimum system requirements include a 10th-generation Intel Core i3 processor or AMD Ryzen 3 1200, 8 GB of RAM, and a GTX 1050, RX 460, or Intel Arc A380 graphics card. This set will allow you to run Civilization VII at 1080p and 30 frames per second. This may be quite enough for such a game.

The recommended requirements include an Intel Core i5 10400 or Ryzen 5 3600X processor, 16 GB of RAM, and an RTX 2060, RX 6600, or Arc A750 graphics card. This setup will already provide 60 frames per second at the same 1080p. Considering that Civilization gameplay is more demanding on the processor than on the video card, the fact that the developers recommend processors from four years ago is nice.

And if you want to crank up all the settings to the max, you’ll need an Intel Core i7 14700F or AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processor, 32 GB of RAM, and Geforce RTX 4070 or Radeon RX 7800 XT. On such hardware, the game will run in 4K and honestly 60 frames per second.
