Xiaomi has announced a new router that supports Wi-Fi 7 outside of China.
The model is called BE3600. The novelty operates in two bands: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. The maximum data rate in the 2.4 GHz band is 688 Mbps and 2882 Mbps in the 5 GHz band. Among other things, the device supports 4K QAM technology. The router comes with a Qualcomm processor that has four computing cores.
As for ports, the BE3600 has four Ethernet ports. One of the four has a maximum data transfer rate of 2.5 Gbps. The router supports the creation of a mesh network, which can be connected to up to 10 routers.
Sales of Xiaomi BE3600 will begin in the near future. There is no global price for the novelty yet. In China, the model costs $40-50.
