Following the Moto G75 5G, Motorola has shown another new smartphone, the ThinkPhone 25. The novelty has a similar aesthetic and corporate focus as the 2023 model.
ThinkPhone 25 provides integration with Lenovo computers and Motorola tablets. This includes automatic synchronization, centralized notifications, and the ability to use the phone’s main camera as a webcam. Motorola also offers B2B customers its Moto Device Manager, which allows IT departments to manage devices remotely. In addition, the new product has a malware and phishing detection function.
The ThinkPhone 25 comes in a single Carbon Black color with an aramid fiber back, plastic frame, IP-68 protection class, and MIL-STD 810H certification. Buyers also get a 6.36-inch POLED display with a 1220p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 7i. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
There are three cameras on the rear panel: the main 50 MP camera with Sony LYTIA 700C sensor and OIS. It is complemented by a 10-megapixel telephoto module and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The battery has a capacity of 4310 mAh and supports wired and wireless charging with a power of 68 W and 15 W, respectively.
Motorola promises 5 years of Android updates and security support until 2029.
Sales of the ThinkPhone 25 will begin in November 2024. The device will cost €499/£450.
