Apple is developing two new versions of HomePod, according to Bloomberg insider and journalist Mark Gurman.

According to the leak, we are talking about smart displays. We will get a basic model codenamed J490, as well as a higher-end device with a robotic arm, a larger screen, and codenamed J595.

Both devices will support Apple Intelligence and run the homeOS operating system, which will replace tvOS.

The J490 will be powered by an A18 processor. The gadget will also have a square display, a FaceTime camera, and sensors for recognizing various gestures.

As for a more expensive product with a robotic arm, it is only known that it will cost more than $1000.

The first model of the smart display will debut in 2025. As for the top-end version, it is likely to be shown later.
