Do you remember a car like the Citroen SM from the 1970s? It was a luxurious coupe that combined futuristic styling, hydropneumatic suspension of the Citroen DS model, and powerful V6 engines from Maserati.

Today, DS calls not only the Citroen DS itself, but also several other luxury models from the “double chevron” past its historical foundation. Among them is also the Citroen SM coupe, which is honored by the latest SM Tribute concept car.

With its large hood and all-glass front end, large doors and additional windows with a curved roofline, hidden rear wheels and sloping boot lid glass, the newest SM Tribute concept tries to closely recreate the style of the original SM car. However, it does so with the latest technology and features.

This approach is especially evident in the SM Tribute cabin, which is dominated by projection screens and translucent surfaces. At the same time, they are combined with horizontal lines on the seats – just like in the fashion of the 1970s!

Nothing is known about the technical component of the SM Tribute concept, but we can be almost certain that an electric drive will be used. It’s also unlikely that the SM Tribute will be made into a production model. But you can definitely dream about such an exquisite car, especially on a Friday!
