Google One, a service that allows you to expand the amount of cloud storage for Google services such as Google Photos, Drive, Gmail, and others, has received a new cheaper plan – Google One Lite. This was reported by Android Authority.

Currently, the new plan is available only in India, where it costs 59 rupees, or about 30 hryvnias, while the Basic plan in Ukraine costs 45 hryvnias. For this money, users will receive an extension of up to 30 GB of storage instead of the 15 GB that the company provides for free.

Google One got an even cheaper plan, but only for India for now

Aside from the expanded storage, Lite doesn’t offer any more benefits. In order to get additional features, such as the ability to share storage with others or additional editing functions in Google Photos, you will need to take Basic or Premium plans, and for full access to the AI feature set, you will need Google One AI Premium.

In general, Google One Lite can be useful for those who just need a little more storage in the cloud and don’t want to overpay for unnecessary features.

Google has not yet made any official announcements regarding the implementation of the new plan or its expansion to other countries.
