OpenAI reported that the company’s paid business solutions, such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Team, and Education, are already used by more than 1 million users. Back in April, the company reported 600 thousand subscribers. This was reported by Reuters.

At the same time, a new report from The Information has appeared, which states that OpenAI executives are discussing the possibility of introducing new, more expensive subscription levels for the next major language models. For example, the company is preparing Strawberry, which focuses on reasoning, as well as the flagship Orion.

Earlier, it was reported that Strawberry is being developed with the support of Microsoft and will be able to conduct “deep research.” In general, the project is kept in complete secrecy, and the principle of operation is a secret even within the company.

During early conversations within the company, a new subscription, including Strawberry, was estimated at $2000 per month. Currently, the cheapest available subscription is ChatGPT Plus for $20, and there are also options for a team for $25 per month per user and customized solutions for businesses.
