Acer has unveiled its new Android tablet at IFA 2024 in Berlin.

The new model is called Acer Iconia X12. The gadget has a 12.6-inch AMOLED display with 2.5K resolution, four stereo speakers, and a 6.7 mm body. The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor. The chip is paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.

The Iconia X12 supports an aluminum stylus pen, a briefcase case with a stylus slot and adjustable stand, and a detachable Bluetooth keyboard with trackpad. For sound, the tablet is equipped with a four-speaker system.

The Iconia X12 comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls and selfies, and a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and flash for taking photos and videos.

The tablet is equipped with a 10,000 mAh battery. It has a USB Type-C port, as well as a microSD card slot (up to 1 TB) and a headphone jack. For communication, the gadget offers dual-band Wi-Fi 5, as well as Bluetooth 5.2 and GPS.

The tablet runs on Android 14 operating system. Acer will start selling the Iconia X12 in early 2025 for $349/€369.
