Tesla plans to launch its Full-Self Driving (FSD) driver assistance system in China and Europe in the first quarter of 2025. It is reported by Bloomberg.

The launch of the self-driving system in these markets is expected to take place after obtaining the relevant regulatory approvals.

The upcoming launch was announced on the official account of Tesla AI, a subsidiary of the electric car manufacturer, which presented a roadmap for the technology launch.

The report indicates that the company is on the way to obtaining permission from the authorities in these regions to use the technology, which it sees as a way to increase sales and stay ahead of Chinese competitors.

In June 2024, it became known that Tesla received permission to test FSD technology on the streets of Shanghai. However, the system is under increased scrutiny in the United States.

Despite the name of the technology, Tesla and industry experts say that drivers should keep their hands on the wheel and pay attention to the road while using the software.

In July, during a phone call, Elon Musk said that he expects the FSD system to be approved in Europe, China, and other countries by the end of the year.
