ASUS is introducing its newest mini PC, the NUC 14 Pro AI, powered by the new Intel Core Ultra Series 200V (Lunar Lake) processors. But even more interestingly, this mini-PC will have a Copilot call button next to the USB ports and power button. This was reported by The Verge.

It’s hard to imagine a scenario in which a user works at a mini-PC that’s located somewhere near them, with wires running to the power supply, monitor, and possibly a keyboard and mouse. Otherwise, it would be strange to reach under the table to press the Copilot button.

In addition to the Copilot on the chassis, the ASUS NUC also has a fingerprint reader on the top of the chassis for Windows Hello authentication, which makes more sense since you can touch the fingerprint reader when you turn on the PC.

Among other things, the NUC is equipped with many important ports and connectivity options. The front panel features two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a Thunderbolt 4 port, and a headphone jack. The rear panel has an Ethernet port, another Thunderbolt 4 port, an HDMI port, and two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports.

ASUS has also equipped the mini-PC with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support. There’s even an internal speaker with a microphone, but again, you’ll need to place the PC on a table, along with all the wires connected.

In terms of specifications, Intel promises significant performance improvements with its latest Lunar Lake processors. ASUS also uses a high-end hydrodynamic bearing fan to improve cooling under high loads.

ASUS NUC 14 Pro AI will go on sale in 2024. The price of the future mini-PC is still unknown.
