The first build of Android 15 for developers has appeared online. This is the final version of the system that will be available on Google Pixel smartphones in the next few weeks, TechRadar reports .
Owners of smartphones from other brands will have to wait a little longer – a few months. The developers have launched a series of Spotlight Weeks blogs, which will gradually describe the technical details of working with Android 15.
New features include private space for the most important apps, better support for multitasking on large screens, improved battery life, and improved low-light camera performance.
Now that Google has released the OS, it’s up to smartphone manufacturers to add their own customizations and improvements to Android 15 before it becomes available to users.
