If you play games and own an NVIDIA graphics card, you’re probably familiar with DLSS, a technology that improves image quality. Many versions have already been released, and each new one is better than the last.

However, until now, players have had to rely on developers to update support for the latest version of DLSS or to dig through DLLs themselves to use the latest version.

However, an i-Deco enthusiast has created an open-source utility called DLSS Updater, which will patch the desired game to the latest version of the technology in one click. This was reported by PC Gamer.

The current version of the program supports games installed via Steam, EA, Ubisoft, Epic Games, GOG, and Battle.net. You will need to tell it the installation directories for certain launchers. But once you point it in the right direction, it will automatically scan the individual game directories to check for outdated DLSS DLLs before replacing them with the latest version.

The newer the technology, the more additional frames per second and the clearer the image you get.
