NVIDIA reported a net profit of $16.6 billion in the second quarter of fiscal year 2025, which ended on July 28. The result was more than two times higher than last year, when it amounted to $6.19 billion.

NVIDIA’s quarterly revenue increased by 122% from $13.5 billion to $30.04 billion in the period under review. It is noteworthy that the results were also higher compared to the previous quarter: NVIDIA’s net profit was $14.9 billion and revenue was $26 billion.

The company also added that its data center division generated revenue of $26.3 billion in Q2 FY2025, up 154% year-on-year and 16% higher than in Q1.

In the third quarter, NVIDIA expects to generate revenue of $32.5 billion plus or minus 2%.

Among other things, the company also announced that on August 26, 2024, the board of directors approved an authorization for an additional share buyback of $50 billion.
