Xiaomi is expanding its MiJia range of robotic vacuum cleaners with the launch of the new H40 Robot Vacuum Mop. This was reported by Gizmochina.

MiJia H40 is equipped with a 6000 Pa suction fan that removes dust from hard-to-reach places. For example, from cracks in the floor or deep carpets.

The vacuum comes with a main brush that prevents tangles. This brush is specially designed to cut and collect hair at the same time. The side axles are also optimized to reduce the chance of tangling. This makes the vacuum easier to maintain.

The robot supports four cleaning modes: first sweep, first wash, simultaneous sweeping and washing, or sweeping and washing only.

The gadget is equipped with advanced sensing and navigation technologies, including millimeter-level obstacle avoidance and 360° laser scanning. The new product comes with HyperOS on board. The vacuum cleaner can be controlled from a smartphone.

Xiaomi will start selling MiJia H40 Robot Vacuum Mop on August 30, 2024 for $350, but only in China. There is no information on the global release of the vacuum cleaner yet.
