Good news for Ted Lasso fans. Warner Bros. Television, which filmed the series for Apple TV+, has begun negotiations with the actors about new filming. According to Deadline, Hannah Weddingham, who plays Richmond FC owner Rebecca Welton, Brett Goldstein, who plays Roy Kent, and Jeremy Swift, who plays director Leslie Higgins, have agreed to participate in the new season.

These actors are members of the British actors’ union Equity, and after signing the contracts, the studio plans to start negotiations with actors from the SAG-AFTRA union. Among them are Jason Sudeikis (Ted Lasso), Brendan Hunt (Coach Bird) and Juno Temple (Keeley Jones).

It has been reported that Phil Dunster (Jamie Tarte) may not be in the next season due to his involvement in Prime Video’s Devil’s Hour and Apple’s Surface.

It is not known which other stars will be approached for the fourth season. The actors have repeatedly stated that they would be happy to reprise their roles if the opportunity arises.

After negotiations with the actors, the budget approval, script writing, and filming are still ahead. According to preliminary reports, production of the fourth season will begin in early 2025.
