ASUS Republic of Gamers gaming division has unveiled three new premium 1440p gaming monitors at Gamescom 2024: the 26.5-inch ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP and ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG, as well as the 27-inch ROG Swift 360 Hz PG27AQNR.
The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP is the world’s first 1440p OLED gaming monitor with an ultra-smooth 480Hz refresh rate. It features a 26.5-inch WOLED panel with an anti-reflective coating, 0.03ms response time, and a new RWGB sub-pixel layout for sharper text display.
The Swift OLED PG27AQDP also has a set of AI Assistant features such as AI Visual, AI Crosshair, AI Sniper, AI ShadowBoost, and MOBA Map Helper to enhance the gaming experience.
ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG has a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, which also has an anti-reflective coating, a refresh rate of 360 Hz and a response time of 0.03 ms. The monitor has a new radiator design that provides efficient heat dissipation and thermal management. Among other things, it also has a mobile phone jack.
In addition, the Strix OLED XG27ACDNG features Dynamic Brightness Boost, which increases brightness levels at low APL window sizes, and AI Visual, which automatically detects what is on the screen and adjusts to provide the best possible default or user-defined monitor settings. A USB-C port with a 90W power supply provides universal connectivity. ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG will be available in stores in early Q4 2024.
And finally, the latest addition is the ASUS ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQNR, specially designed to meet the needs of eSports and competitive gamers. The monitor features a 27-inch ultra-fast IPS panel with a QHD 360Hz resolution and supports G-SYNC technology, including the new Pulsar technology for maximum motion clarity.
The monitor also has a Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), which provides an extremely smooth image. It has a built-in DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a USB port for firmware updates. The new product will be available in the fourth quarter of 2024.
In addition to ROG’s premium three-year warranty, both OLED monitors come with the new OLED Care+ program, which offers a set of features designed to protect the panel. OLED Care+ settings can be easily managed through the ASUS DisplayWidget Center software.
In addition to all the features provided by the original OLED CARE app, the new OLED Care+ app provides taskbar detection, external dimming control, and global dimming control. There are also adjustable HDR settings that give you the flexibility to customize your screen image to suit your preferences. These new features will be available soon in other ASUS ROG gaming monitors.
