Marshall is expanding its line of portable speakers with the release of the Emberton III and Willen II models.
Emberton III, like the previous version of Emberton II, has Dynamic Loudness technology that adjusts the sound power depending on the volume level. The battery life has been increased to 32 hours. The speaker also has a built-in microphone for calls. It retains its rugged design with an IP67 dust and water resistance rating.
Willen II is a smaller portable speaker with similar features. It offers improved sound quality and a battery life of up to 17 hours on a single charge. It also comes with a strap for comfortable wearing, a microphone for hands-free communication, and is IP67-rated.
Both models support Bluetooth LE Audio technology, but Marshall will activate it in a future update. This technology will support Auracast. This will allow multiple listeners to enjoy the sound at the same time.
Sales of Emberton III and Willen II will begin on August 26, 2024. The first model will cost $169, and the second – $119.
