In 2022, Insta360 introduced the Link webcam. It featured pan, tilt, and zoom, and people tracking, which gave you the freedom to move around the room. It looks like a sequel is on the way, but it will significantly change the formula.

Images and specifications of the Insta360 Link 2 have been leaked online. As you can see in the renders, the motorized pan and tilt mechanism is no longer there. This will make the device more compact. Link 2 will still be able to track objects in OIS style. To do this, it will tilt the lens.
In terms of specifications, Insta360 Link 2 will have a 1/2″ sensor and f/1.8 lens. It will be able to shoot video in 4K 30fps or 1080p 60fps.
The new model will cost $200. That’s $100 cheaper than the original version of Link was asking for.
