WiseWallet, a personal finance management app from Ukrainian developers, has received new features and bug fixes. This was done within version 1.1.0, which is already available for download. Yuriy Hnatiuk, founder of Kindgeek software development, shared the details.

First of all, the app has received new functionality. Now users can add tags to transactions and see statistics on tags: in how many wallets and for how many transactions they were applied.

WiseWallet has also added a new feature called “Balance Equalization”. Now, a person can enter the current wallet balance to continue keeping records from this place – in case, for example, they have not kept records for some time and do not plan to enter transactions for that period.

“A transaction will be created, the amount of which will be equal to the difference between the last actual wallet balance in the application and the current balance you entered. This transaction can be edited,” explained Yuriy Hnatiuk.

Another innovation is My Capital. The Analytics tab now has a graph that displays the trend of the user’s capital – the sum of the balances of all wallets as of the end of the day.

In addition, WiseWallet users can now unzip categories, and a link to the User Guide has been added to the settings.

As for the improvements, the lists of wallets and transactions in the app now load much faster. In addition, the details of the transaction are displayed on a separate screen – now there is a (…) menu that allows you to perform actions with the transaction (edit, delete).

The process of selecting an icon for a category/wallet has also been updated. Among other things, from now on, different wallets will be selected by default for different types of transactions based on the number of transactions of the type that the user creates. In addition, when creating a category, after trying to search for it in the list of all categories (in the settings), the search phrase will be automatically recorded in the name field.

Yuriy Gnatyuk also reported on fixing the behavior of an expense transaction that has refunds attached to it that exceed the amount of the expense itself.

Earlier it became known about the release of the WiseWallet app, which allows users to control their personal finances. This application is free for Ukraine.

“It is our desire and goal that you have full and unhindered access to the product and that you benefit from using the Ukrainian financial management application,” explained Yuriy Hnatyuk.

You can download WiseWallet from Google Play and App Store.
