In August, the Game Pass catalog will include another game from Activision Blizzard, a modern classic from the Czech Republic’s Daniel Vavra, and a new title from Polish publisher 11 bit studios.

Coming soon to Game Pass:

Creatures of Ava (Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S) – August 7

The new game by Inverge Studios and publisher 11 bit studios will throw players on a distant alien planet. But, unusually for such games, instead of surviving in a hostile ecosystem, you will need to save it.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy (Cloud, консолі та PC) – August 8

Ironically, the PlayStation 1’s signature mascot will be available on Xbox’s Game Pass. A tip for newcomers: the first part of the trilogy may seem unfairly difficult and outdated, so it’s better to play through the second and third parts and then return to the first.

Mafia: Definitive Edition (Cloud, консолі та PC) – August 13

The classic Mafia from the outstanding Czech game designer Daniel Vavra, who is very fond of movies. The 2020 remake by Hangar 13 retained the atmosphere of the original game and managed to tell the story of a simple taxi driver Tommy Angelo, who was unlucky enough to give a ride to the mafia members one day.

In addition to these games, Game Pass subscribers will also receive the following updates:

  • No Man’s Sky Worlds Part I — already available
  • Dead by Daylight: 2v8 Game Mode — from August 8
  • Sea of Thieves: Season 13 — already available

On August 15, 2024, the catalog will be closed:

  • Airborne Kingdoms
  • Offworld Trading Company
  • Shadow Warrior 3
  • The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
