The second-generation Infiniti QX60 crossover has been in production for three years, and the primary interest of buyers has already passed. Therefore, the time has come to launch not an updated car, but at least a variety of special versions, such as the Infiniti QX60 Black Edition. In keeping with its name, this car features an all-black finish: the wheels, grille, logos and inscriptions are all black.

In addition, the Infiniti QX60 Black Edition crossover has become a symbol of the final farewell to the V6 3.5 engine – its place has been taken by a 2-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine, which until now was offered only in the local Chinese market, but has now become global for the Infiniti QX60 model and will be available in all markets. The new VC-TURBO engine is inferior to the previous V6 engine in terms of power, but wins in terms of torque – 272 hp vs. 299 hp, but 388 Nm vs. 366 Nm, respectively. Otherwise, the design of the Infiniti QX60 remains unchanged: a traditional 9-speed automatic and front or all-wheel drive.

In addition to a black design package and a new engine, the Infiniti QX60 crossover also received slightly expanded equipment. Although there was nothing to complain about before: a spacious 3-row interior and leather seat trim, three-zone climate control, and a 12.3-inch display are already present in the base version. Higher trims get a 12.3-inch dashboard screen, all-round visibility, Bose music, wood trim, and more.

The cost of the new Infiniti QX60 in the US market starts at $50 thousand and reaches $66 thousand for the maximum equipment. I wonder how much such a car could cost in our country in a new, official, showroom condition? After all, the predecessor was once sold in Ukraine – perhaps the new Infiniti QX60 will soon be here, don’t you think?
