YouTube Music now lets you search for songs by singing them to your smartphone

YouTube Music offers users new features. Now, people can search for songs by humming the melodies of their smartphones. This was reported by Engadget.

The Shazam-like feature first became known a few months ago. For example, in the spring, it was in beta access for owners of Android gadgets. Shortly before that, it was also noticed by some users of YouTube Music for iOS.

The feature will now be available to all subscribers, and the service claims that the tool allows you to “search YouTube Music’s catalog of over 100 million official songs” using natural sound.

All you need to do is click “search” and find the wave icon. The rest is up to the person. The tool allows you to hum a melody or even play it on another instrument, and then it will find the right song.

Recently, it also became known that YouTube Music is testing a new generative radio feature. Users will be able to give the artificial intelligence a text prompt, and it will select the appropriate songs at the user’s request. The new feature will start appearing for random users.
