Nintendo Switch 2 with an 8-inch LCD screen will be released this year. This is reported by Bloomberg with reference to Omdia analyst Hiroshi Hayase.

Hiroshi was researching small and medium-sized displays, which is why he made his predictions. According to him, Nintendo’s new console will be responsible for doubling the supply of LCD displays in 2024.

Last year, Sharp also said that it was supplying LCD panels and working closely with a company developing a new console, which was at the research and development stage at the time.

Since the release of the Nintendo Switch in 2017, the company has managed to sell 132 million units, and considering that the console is already reaching the end of its life cycle and all the rumors and predictions from last year, the announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2 is almost guaranteed, but the company still refused to comment.
