Just in October, Pixel owners faced a problem that resulted in the loss of access to the storage, and now a similar bug has reappeared. This time, because of the Google Play update, writes 9to5Google

After the January Google Play update, users on Reddit started complaining about the same problems with accessing data stored in internal memory in all apps.

This causes problems with playback of downloaded audio and video files, screenshots are not saved, some programs simply crash, etc.

Currently, this issue is only affecting Pixel 8, 7, and 6 users who have installed the January Google Play update. Luckily, the update was not rolled out en masse, and most smartphone owners are still using the November version.

A Google spokesperson confirmed to 9to5Google that the company is already aware of the problem and is working to resolve it.
