At the end of last year, the American electric car Tesla Model Y became the leader of the new car market in Europe (EU, EFTA countries and the UK). During the year, this car was the sales leader for seven out of 12 months, demonstrating its continued popularity.

“At the same time, the Dacia Sandero was in the lead for four months, and the Volkswagen T-Roc was ranked first once,” the report says.

The top 10 best-selling cars in Europe last year included: Tesla Model Y (254,822 thousand units), Dacia Sandero (235,893 thousand units), Volkswagen T-Roc (206,438 thousand units), Renault Clio (202,942 thousand units), Peugeot 208 (194,376 thousand units). ), Opel Corsa (188.662 thousand units), Volkswagen Golf (184.279 thousand units), Toyota Yaris Cross (176.685 thousand units), Volkswagen Tiguan (174.267 thousand units), Skoda Octavia (161.784 thousand units).
