The new sedan Toyota Camry is gradually opening its cards: information about the variants for Europe has recently appeared.

Visually, these cars are almost indistinguishable from their American counterparts, with the main visual difference being the appearance of fog lights in the front bumper. However, the European market will not have a “sporty” version of the XSE with a spectacular appearance: only a “restrained classic”.

The engine/transmission range is also both similar and different. For the European market, the Toyota Camry will be available only with front-wheel drive, although all-wheel drive versions are also promised in the United States. However, the power of the 2.5-liter HEV hybrid powertrain will increase slightly: 231 hp is expected against 225 hp in the front-wheel drive versions for the US market.

This is where the European version of Toyota Camry does not lose, but wins – it is in the level of equipment! After all, only the maximum Toyota Camry configurations will be offered for the European market: a pair of 12.3-inch displays, JBL audio system, wireless charging, Toyota Safety Sense safety systems, support for wireless connection of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and much more.

Although, of course, all of this will lead to a price increase. Therefore, the burning question “how much does it cost?” still remains open. In addition, the question of the Toyota Camry sedan’s appearance on the Ukrainian market remains open. But it looks like it’s coming soon!
