The first season of the film adaptation of the famous Halo series of shooters was not very successful, but despite the criticism, the series was renewed for a second season, even before the first one ended.
Well, maybe it’s thanks to the new showrunner (David Wiener, known for such series as Fear the Walking Dead and Brave New World), or maybe it’s just the skill of the trailer authors, but at first glance, the new season of Halo The Series seems more interesting than the first one and more like a game.
The creators don’t disclose plot details, but the trailer suggests that the second season will tell the story of the fall of the planet Reach, i.e. the events that preceded the first game in the series, Halo: Combat Evolved.
It’s worth reminding here that the film adaptation depicts an alternative version of Halo and deals freely with the canon, so fans of the universe shouldn’t expect a literal adaptation of the Halo: The Fall of Reach.
The second season of Halo The Series will be available on Paramount+ starting February 8.
