Google is adding new features for owners of Android tablets. For them, Gboard has a toolbar for a physical keyboard, writes 9to5Google.

The panel opens when the user connects a physical keyboard to the tablet. This can be done wirelessly via Bluetooth or with a USB cable.

By default, the toolbar appears at the bottom of the screen on your tablet, but you can move it if you want. It provides quick access to various functions: emoji selection, a text correction suggestion bar, translation, and the clipboard.

The toolbar also has a button that allows you to reduce its size to a vertical bar and place it on the left or right of the screen. In addition, users can turn off the panel if necessary.

The innovation was added to Gboard 13.6+. However, it is not yet available on all Android tablets.
