Razer gaming laptops are one of the most interesting representatives of the category and have always received a lot of attention. At this year’s CES 2024, they will receive new updates that will also include displays.

The details were published by TheVerge.

Currently, the Razer Blade 16 is offered with a Mini-LED matrix that has two modes: 1920×1200 pixels with a refresh rate of 240 Hz, or 4K at 120 Hz. Another option is an LED panel with 2560×1600 dots and 240 Hz.

The updated model will have an OLED display developed in partnership with Samsung. Its resolution is 2560×1600 pixels with a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz. The declared contrast ratio is 1,000,000:1, and it also complies with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and VESA ClearMR 11000.

In turn, Razer Blade 18 will have a simpler update. Its LED panel will change to 4K@165 Hz instead of the old 2560×1600@240 Hz combination. At the same time, the 3 ms response time and G-Sync support remain in place.

From now on, all new screens will be Calman Verified, and the factory calibration will provide 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space (as with current models).

We will learn more details about the new gaming laptops next week.
