Mazda CX-70 crossover will be presented at the end of January

Recently, the Canadian Mazda website started counting down to the presentation of the new Mazda CX-70: it is scheduled for January 30-31, depending on the exact time and taking into account the different time zones for Canada and Ukraine.

The design of the new Mazda CX-70 is still unknown, but the positioning of the car is quite clear – between the Mazda CX-60 and Mazda CX-90 models. It is supposed to be a 5-seater crossover with two rows of seats (the configuration is similar to the Mazda CX-60), but with rather large dimensions (closer to the dimensions of the Mazda CX-90).

And the technical component is familiar: a new platform with a longitudinal arrangement of engines, an 8-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive with an emphasis on the rear wheels. A PHEV hybrid based on a 4-cylinder gasoline atmospheric engine is expected to appear, as well as a version with a 6-cylinder turbo engine. In any case, it is worth counting on a power of about 300 “horses”.

But questions still remain. Both regarding the design of the Mazda CX-70 and its price. Finally, there is one more pressing question – should we expect Mazda CX-70 to appear in Ukraine? So, let’s wait for the presentation and follow the next news!
