The Microsoft Edge browser on iOS and Android has received a new appendix to its name – AI Browser. According to 9to5Google, this note is not entirely new and some users have had it since September.

Such innovations began to spread after the browser on smartphones received a Copilot-enabled update that offered mobile users similar functionality to the PC version.

Microsoft’s browser pages immediately list all the main functions based on artificial intelligence:

“Microsoft Edge, your AI-powered browser, with Copilot built in to enhance your browsing experience. Empowered by GPT-4 , Copilot enables you to ask questions, refine searches, receive comprehensive summaries and create images with DALL-E 3. Microsoft Edge is a smarter way to browse, find, create and shop on the go.”

The company continues to add artificial intelligence to all its products, even if it is just a name. Interestingly, however, the browser has not received an updated name on PCs.
