Samsung has announced an update to its Odyssey gaming lineup, which will be replenished with new Odyssey OLED G9, G8, and G6 monitors.

The older model, the Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SD), is an ultra-wide 49-inch monitor with a curved screen. It has a 32:9 aspect ratio, DQHD resolution (5,120×1,440 pixels), and a 240Hz refresh rate.

The Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SD) is the company’s first 32-inch flat OLED monitor with 4K resolution (3,840×2,160 pixels) and 16:9 aspect ratio. As with the G9, the maximum refresh rate is 240 Hz and the response time is 0.03 ms (GtG).

And finally, the latest model, the Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SD), is the most compact in this year’s lineup update. It has perhaps the most versatile screen parameters: 27-inch diagonal, 16:9 aspect ratio, QHD resolution (2,560×1,440 pixels). The response time of the G6 is also 0.03 ms (GtG), but the maximum frequency of this model is even higher: 360 Hz.

All three have VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro adaptive frequency technology. Each model is equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB hub.

Samsung hasn’t disclosed prices and launch dates yet, but it is known that the new models will be available for viewing at CES 2024 in Las Vegas next week.
