Researchers from Counterpoint Research have named the TOP 5 smartphone models that were the best-selling in eight countries in October 2023.
The best-selling smartphone in the United States is the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max, chosen by 24% of buyers. Apple iPhone 15 Pro is in second place (16%), and Apple iPhone 15 is in third place (13%). The Apple iPhone 14 was in fourth place (4%), and the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G was in fifth place (3%).
In China, the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max also took first place (5%). Huawei Mate 60 Pro took the second place (4%), and Apple iPhone 15 Pro (4%) was in third place. The fourth position in the ranking of the best-selling smartphones is occupied by the HONOR X50 (3%), and the fifth position is occupied by the Apple iPhone 15 (3%).
In India, the top 5 best-selling smartphone models included: Apple iPhone 14 (5%), vivo T2x 5G (4%), Redmi 12 5G (3%), realme C53 (3%) and Redmi A2 (3%).
In Germany, the most actively sold devices were the Apple iPhone 15 (12%), Apple iPhone 14 (12%), Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max (8%), Apple iPhone 15 Pro (7%), and Samsung Galaxy S23 (5%).
In the UK, however, only Apple products made it to the list of best-selling smartphone models. Here are the top sellers in October: Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max (11%), Apple iPhone 15 Pro (10%), Apple iPhone 15 (9%), Apple iPhone 14 Pro (9%), and Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max (8%).
In France, iPhones were also often chosen, but not limited to them. In this country, the rating includes: Apple iPhone 15 Pro (11%), Samsung Galaxy S23 (10%), Apple iPhone 15 (10%), Apple iPhone 14 (8%), and Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus (5%).
In South Korea, on the contrary, Samsung smartphones were more actively purchased. Here, the top 5 were: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 (12%), Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max (9%), Apple iPhone 15 Pro (8%), Samsung Galaxy A34 (8%), and Samsung Galaxy A24 (8%).
Finally, customers in Japan also preferred different iPhone models. In this country, the list looks like this: Apple iPhone 14 (22%), Apple iPhone 15 (9%), Apple iPhone 15 Pro (8%), Apple iPhone 13 (7%), and Apple iPhone SE 2022 (4%).
