Today, LG Electronics unveiled an update to its UltraGear gaming monitor lineup for the next year, with six new OLED monitor models ranging from 27 to 45 inches.

The most interesting is a rather “compact” model – the 32-inch 32GS95UE. It has a 4K resolution, a minimum response time of 0.03 ms (GtG), and a base refresh rate of 240 Hz. At the same time, the developer introduced an unusual “dual frequency” function – Dual-Hz, which allows the user to switch between 4K@240 Hz and FullHD@480 Hz modes with just one press of a hotkey or a deflection of the joystick.

The monitor has a bezel-less design on all sides, with a DTS Virtual:X sound system behind the OLED panel and Pixel Sound technology, which, according to the manufacturer, provides powerful stereo sound.

In addition to the 32GS95UE, LG Electronics has also introduced two ultra-wide curved screen monitors – the 34-inch 34GS95QE and the 39-inch 39GS95QE. Both models have a 21:9 aspect ratio, 800R screen curvature (80 cm radius) and UltraWide Quad-HD resolution (3,440 x 1,440 pixels). Like the younger model, they also feature a completely bezel-less design, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03ms response time.

The last three monitors are updates of the 45GR95QE and 27GR95QE models, namely two 45-inch models 45GS95QE and 45GS96QB and a 27-inch 27GS95QE. The 45-inch models are almost identical – again, they are ultra-wide monitors with a curved screen, 21:9 aspect ratio, and 3,440×1,440 resolution, and differ only in the presence of built-in speakers in the 45GS96QB. The 27-inch model has a 16:9 flat screen and a resolution of 2,560×1,440.

All of the announced models feature the same extended color gamut covering 98.5% of the DCI-P3 space, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, support for FreeSync Premium Pro technology and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility.

LG Electronics is currently not disclosing prices or expected dates of the new products’ availability, instead “spoiling” that the 34GS95QE has already won the CES 2024 Innovation Award – despite the fact that this exhibition will start only in January next year.
