MSI has announced the launch of the flagship SPATIUM M570 PRO FROZR SSD, as well as the high-performance SPATIUM M482 model, which is expected to expand its SSD lineup.

The SPATIUM M570 PRO FROZR features a PHISON E26 PCIe Gen 5 controller and 3D NAND memory with a passive thermal solution, which provide the model with read and write speeds of up to 12.4/11.8 GB/s. According to the manufacturer, this is up to 1.8 times faster than modern PCIe 4.0 SSDs.

FROZR’s passive cooling technology includes precision-machined heat pipes and a surface heat sink.
These components work in tandem to transfer heat from the M570 PRO and distribute it along the entire length of the heat sink, allowing airflow and reducing temperatures by up to 20℃.

The SPATIUM M570 PRO FROZR drive with NVMe 2.0 and M.2 2280 interface will be available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities.

The junior SPATIUM M482 model features high-density 3D NAND flash memory and delivers high performance for PCIe 4.0 with sequential read speeds of up to 7300MB/s and 6400MB/s sequential write speeds. This drive will be available in 1TB and 2TB capacities.

Technologies that enhance the performance of the new SSDs include a DRAM cache buffer for the M570 PRO and SLC cache for all announced models, which supports a wide range of data error correction functions, including LPDC ECC and E2E Data Protection. These SSDs have a high TBW (terabytes of written data), which, according to the manufacturer, ensures high durability, as well as a 5-year warranty.
